Voice dictation for check-in notes
How to use voice dictation to capture check-in notes hands-free — available on all paid plans.
Check-in notes are most accurate when captured immediately after the conversation — but typing on a phone while standing on the floor is awkward. Voice dictation lets you speak your notes naturally and have them transcribed in real time.
How to use it
- In the check-in notes field, tap the microphone icon.
- Speak your notes naturally. The text appears as you speak.
- Tap the mic icon again to stop.
- Review and edit the transcript before saving.
Enabling voice dictation and push notifications
Voice dictation permission is requested through your browser when you first tap the mic. Push notification opt-in works similarly — go to Dashboard then Profile and enable the notification toggle there. Both are opt-in only and never requested automatically on page load.
Availability
Voice dictation is available on all paid plans and during the 14-day free trial. It uses your device's built-in speech recognition — no additional setup is required.
